It's Complete!

I have to admit, I fell in love with this cute little puppy dog and knew that I just had to have it for this cake. It's the perfect fit.

Sneak Preview!

So I am about 95% done with this cake, but couldn't wait to show it to everyone!!

When speaking with the customer, she said that she wanted a boy cake with blues, and to have a dog on top. I immediately knew what ribbon I wanted to use. From the moment I saw it, I knew that it would be perfect for a little boy, lots of blues, greens and browns. I paired this with a larger blue ribbon and it went together perfectly!!


From there, I pulled out the blues in the wash cloths, spoons and teething toy, and of course incorporated the dog idea with the cute floppy dog on the top (don't you just love the little tongue?!!) and the musical carseat toy.

Finished Product

Last week we shared with you the latest cake, which we lovingly called Just Ducky. But when we posted pictures, we stated that it wasn't 100% complete. Well, now we can show you the full put together, 100% complete, simply adorable cake.



For this cake, we paired with Literally Inspired, who made the beautiful hair bows featured.


And since this cake is being shipped to Florida, here it is, all pretty and ready to go!

A New Home

My precious dachshund diaper cake has found a home!

Remember this cute little cake that I had done for a holiday fair late last year? Well, it had been sitting in my closet since then until my sister in law had mentioned that she should have asked me to do one for her coworker. Since I was in a good mood (despite all of the rain we've had here in the Washington, D.C. area today), I told her that she could take this cake. Since all of my cakes are custom in their themes and colors, it's been hard to find a home for him.

However, I did keep the dog. I couldn't give him up!! My daughters already given him kisses!!

Here's hoping her coworker enjoys the cake!!

Feeling Ducky

It's not 100% done yet, but I wanted to share with everyone the latest cake.

An adorable duck and frog themed cake for a little girl. To pull the theme together, I combined green and yellow along with pink (because, let's face it, any cake for a little girl needs some hint of pink!).

Newest Baby Girl Cake!

So as soon as we saw this sweet little bear

we knew our latest girl diaper cake would be based around her.

This cake is actually being made for the head coach (and his wife) of the program where my husband coaches. Because of this, not only did we use pink, we also had touches of red since the teams colors are red and white.

This cake was something new for us as we decided to create a two layer cake, and boy are we proud of how it came together!

From the front:
This cake includes approximately 100 Pampers Newborn Diapers (swaddlers sensitive), two washcloths, 2 Gerber soft tip spoons, 1 Nuk pacifier, 1 wrist rattle, 1 pair of 0-6 month socks

2 teethers, and Johnson and Johnson travel size powder, shampoo and all over body wash
